Photographing dogs on a paper backdrop in the studio means one thing: dirty, hairy, drooly floors. But fear not! Professional pet photographer, Terran Bayer, is here to help show you some easy ways to clean up all the imperfections in Photoshop! With a little magic and a pinch of pixie dust, your photos will look like they’re straight out of a magazine and your backdrops will look better than they ever did in real life!
If you photograph on seamless paper, this class is a MUST WATCH.
This class is available to purchase directly or it's available to members inside the Hair of the Dog Academy.
Howdy! I’m Terran. I’m a Crazy Dog Mom, I dream of living off-the-grid high in the mountains (with high-speed internet and Thai takeout), and I think road trips make the best vacations. I’m a foodie, Netflix binger, and love quiet nights by the campfire.
I discovered my love of photography and design in high school (but we won’t talk about how long ago that was). I started my career as a graphic designer, working for businesses of all sizes, from solopreneurs to Fortune 500 companies.
After adopting my pup, I realized I was meant to be a photographer, too — a dog photographer! Now I also work with private families and commercial pet brands, like West Paw and Planet Dog, to tell stories through bright, colorful, and emotional imagery. I absolutely love what I do and love teaching others the skills they need to do it, too! See more of Terran's work at Westway Studio.
